Practicing manual

Well this what you can practice indoors at home. Good for your balance.

Not that complicated 🙂 Or rather it shouldn´t be that complicated. But very very basic! Just have to be able to balance for say …30 sec. Harder than you think. But practice makes perfect! And I am quite a patient and stubborn person. So one of these days…

Coldstore

Now I gor myself a membership at the coldstore…Definitely the oldes lady ever 🙂 . A Saturday Night this place is a solitary place. Just the right time to dare my first indoor skating. I have the vert ramp to myself. And I do quite alright, I think. It is fun to be honest and it makes me tired so it is some physical training even with my modest skill!

Indoor at home

Got a new skateboard. It is a popsicle but a broad and big one. I wanted an old school board. They feel so much better. Hmm.

My longboard and the oldschool board!

This is my “new” deck!

I practice how to do a manual on my hallcarpet (not rolling though, just balancing). That is hard enough. And nosemanual.

Ice, ice, indoors

Högdalen-1
Last try in the ditch and it was too slippery. But in one of the pools it was possible to skate a bit. Have to learn how to turn by standing on the kick. Managed to do that quite well actually. Not in one turn but more like bit by bit.
Then I realised that this is not only about technique!!! It is definitely about what gear you have. I was indoors this weekend and then I was allowed to skate on the skater´s own big board with nice wheels!!! And what a difference…Tried the wooden pool and now I want a new skateboard. My cruiser is GOOD but the other one I have been skating on, not so good.
